The Borettana onion takes its name from the geographical location where cultivation began: Boretto, in the province of Reggio Emilia. It is small, straw-colored and with a flattened bulb.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs

  • Borettane onions

  • Peppers in Oil

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • SARI aromatic salt

Preparation

Place the chicken legs in a large baking dish and season them with extra virgin olive oil

Add the SARI aromatic salt

Bake at 180° for 40 minutes

Now add the Borettane onions and peppers in oil and leave to cook for another 30 minutes, lowering the temperature to 150°
