Annual plant belonging to the Solanaceae family. The typical spiciness is given by capsaicin, an alkaloid and rubefacient substance, capable of promoting the circulation of blood flow. Rich in mineral salts (calcium, copper, potassium) and active ingredients such as carotenoids, bioflavonoids, lecithin, the whole dried fruit maintains the characteristics of the natural product for longer. Excellent in the preparation of sauces, appetizers, first and second courses.
